Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Greater East Texas Community Action Program. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for implementing a valid and reliable curriculum while providing a safe, healthy, and fun learning environment for preschool-aged children.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the educational needs of preschool-aged children.
- Classroom Management: Create a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
- Child Development: Provide opportunities for children to explore and express their creative abilities, develop problem-solving skills, and learn to interact with others in a positive and respectful manner.
- Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Education: A.A. degree or B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a educational setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a passion for early childhood education.
