Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the Greater East Texas Community Action Program (GETCAP). As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, healthy, and fun learning environment for preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement a valid and reliable curriculum that meets the needs of our young learners.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Encourage children to explore and express their creative abilities through various activities and play.
  • Help each child develop a sense of independence and self-confidence.
  • Support children in learning to get along with others and develop empathy and mutual respect.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A.A. degree or B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Positive, motivating, and energetic personality.
  • Professionalism and flexibility in a changing environment.
  • Ability to observe multiple activities and children simultaneously.
  • Ability to make decisions regarding classroom operations.

Compensation:

$19.79 per hour.
