At Burke Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide mental health skills and support services to children, adolescents, and their families in Nacogdoches, Shelby, and San Augustine counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management, skills training, and other services according to the consumer's approved and prescribed treatment plan.
- Conduct emergency assessments as warranted and intake assessments.
- Travel within the six-county region is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, medicine, registered nurse, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, early childhood intervention, or other Human Services discipline that meets QMHP requirements.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Preferred: Six (6) month's direct care experience working with children in a behavioral healthcare or mental health setting. Familiarity with DSM IV diagnostic criteria.
Working Conditions:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- May require occasional after-hours work to complete job responsibilities.
Compensation:
- $42,120 - $43,555 annually, depending on qualifications and experience; travel reimbursement provided.
