Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Specialist to join our dedicated team at MSI Systems Corp, DBA Medical Search International. This role involves providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with off-site call responsibilities.
  • Patient Demographic: Focus on adult patients.
  • Case Load: Manage an average of 4 cases per day.
  • Emergency Room Volume: Handle an annual volume of approximately 26,000 ER visits.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
  • Support Team: Collaborate with a full team dedicated to supporting the Interventional Radiology physician.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
  • BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • Licensure: A valid Virginia state medical license is mandatory.
  • Vaccination: Covid vaccination is required for this position.
Required Procedures

The following procedures are essential for this role:

  • TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt)
  • UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
  • PICC Lines (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter)
  • Myelograms
  • Arthrograms
  • Lumbar Punctures with and without pressures
  • CT Biopsy, including lung biopsies
Preferred Skills

Experience in vascular work is preferred but not mandatory.
