We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our team at Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Union Square. As an Executive Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets in the Union Square market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in hotel sales, with a strong understanding of the San Francisco hospitality industry. You will work closely with our Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with key clients, and mentor junior sales team members.

In this role, you will be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge about local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales plans, forecasting sales performance, and analyzing sales data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY CLIENTS AND IDENTIFY NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
  • Mentor junior sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Stay up-to-date on local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans, forecast sales performance, and analyze sales data to inform business decisions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in the San Francisco market
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the San Francisco hospitality industry, including local market trends and competitor activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of energy and motivation

Compensation:

$64,480 - $77,376 per year, based on experience
