REGISTERED NURSE - OPERATING ROOM

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Full-time position available at a leading medical facility.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution recognized by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Certifications: Must possess current certifications in the following areas through recognized organizations:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience within the last three years, including care for adults and newborns.
- Licensure: Must hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical Requirements: Must be capable of standing or sitting for extended periods and performing all required nursing duties.
WORK HOURS:
- As a 24/7 facility, work hours will be determined by the Department Chief or designated representative.
- Minimum coverage of four hours per month is required for each Registered Nurse.
- Overtime must be pre-approved for hours exceeding 80 in a two-week period.
- A meal break of 30 minutes to one hour will be provided during shifts.
- Services will not exceed 80 hours in a two-week period.
