Technology Security Analyst

As a key contributor within the Department of Defense, the incumbent will be responsible for providing specialized support in the realm of Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure (TSFD) compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Typical duties may include:
- Offering expert assistance in the execution of TSFD mandates and facilitating export control compliance initiatives.
- Supporting the Principal Disclosure Authority (PDA) by managing sensitive cases within the National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS) and preparing documentation for monthly National Disclosure Policy Committee (NDPC) meetings.
- Assisting in the creation of disclosure documentation and conducting TSFD assessments to bolster acquisition programs directed by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
- Drafting compliance-related documents, including validation of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) exemptions and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), to support defense acquisition initiatives.
- Tracking and ensuring adherence to TSFD and Export Control compliance actions.
- Providing strategic recommendations on high-interest transactions involving international agreements, TSFD, and export control compliance policies based on thorough analysis and coordination with various governmental departments.
- Engaging in DoD and interagency processes related to international agreements, TSFD, and export control.
Employment Conditions

- Successful completion of a probationary period.
- Eligibility for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit program.
- Maintenance of a Special Sensitive (TS/SCI) security clearance.
- Potential travel requirements of less than 10%.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) level in federal service, demonstrating the ability to support TSFD requirements and export control compliance.
- Experience in coordinating sensitive cases and preparing documentation for high-level meetings.
- Proficiency in developing disclosure documentation and conducting TSFD reviews.
