Job Summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Auto Parts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will provide exceptional service to retail and installer customers, supporting store management in achieving assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty among customers.
  • Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers, as needed and directed.
  • Complete assigned company training relevant to the position, ensuring a strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform various daily operational tasks, including preparing new, core, and warranty merchandise returns for shipment to the distribution center.
  • Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment, after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met.
  • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries, when business needs dictate.
Requirements
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
  • Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service is desired.
  • ASE certification is a plus.
