Position: Medical Receptionist / Front Desk (Part-time)

This entry-level role as a Medical Receptionist / Front Desk position offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers. The role requires a commitment of 16 hours per week, including 4 hours on Saturdays and an additional 12 hours during weekdays, with a schedule to be discussed.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Care Specialist, you will be integral to ensuring each patient receives exceptional service throughout their journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming patients upon arrival, managing check-ins, and processing payments.
  • Administering outcome measures using paper-and-pencil methods.
  • Entering data into electronic health records and maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
  • Handling incoming calls and managing communications effectively.
  • Monitoring faxes and emails for new referrals and pertinent documents.
  • Contacting patients to schedule appointments and address inquiries.
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to address patient needs.
  • Contributing to clinic improvement initiatives during team meetings.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and organizing.
  • Verifying insurance coverage through online and phone inquiries.
  • Informing potential patients about the benefits of physical therapy.
  • Educating patients on wellness products and facilitating purchases.
  • Assisting with clinic operations, including opening and closing duties.
  • Supporting compliance and safety programs.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the clinic.
