We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Design team at Kleinfelder. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing structural and seismic analysis to qualify designs to code requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural and seismic analysis to ensure designs meet code requirements
  • Analyze and interpret analysis results to prepare formal calculations and technical reports
  • Compute loads or material stress factors to establish design specifications
  • Develop detailed design calculations and sketches for materials of construction
  • Prepare construction specifications
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Professional Engineering License a plus
  • Proficient use of RISA 3D, SAP, or similar software
  • Course work in designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures
  • Experience in analyzing equipment and structures for seismic and wind related loads
  • Knowledge of IBC requirements and related structural codes
Education:

Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures. Master's degree preferred.
