Job Overview

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructures team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural engineering, with expertise in advanced analysis and design projects.

  • Lead structural engineering consulting services on complex projects, collaborating with senior management and project managers.
  • Manage medium-sized projects, providing technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers.
  • Develop and implement structural engineering solutions, utilizing 3D modeling and finite element analysis software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural engineering analysis and design of steel and concrete structures, stress analysis of piping and components, and seismic qualification of mechanical equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports and calculation documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Execute complex structural engineering tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • 5-9 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong background in structural engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, with expertise in solid mechanics, steel, concrete, seismic design/analysis, and advanced structural analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Structural Engineering, with advanced knowledge in engineering mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
  • Project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
