Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, including tracking inventory movements, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and analyzing inventory trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience: One or more years of experience in accounting and/or inventory reconciliation.
  • Skills: Knowledge of automated accounting systems and processes, GAAP, and financial analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical: Excellent analytical skills, with ability to provide accurate and thorough work with attention to detail.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of time management skills.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to problem solve and provide detailed backup to support recommendations.
Preferred Skills
  • PDI Technologies Petroleum Accounting Software: One or more years of experience with PDI Technologies Petroleum Accounting software.
  • JD Edwards Enterprise One: Knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One.
  • Leadership: Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work independently and in a team environment.
