About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Cooley Dickinson Health Care, a member of the Mass General Brigham system. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our pursuit of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive patients, gather registration information, and order tests
  • Generate specimen labels and escort patients to phlebotomy services
  • Perform phlebotomy on all patient populations and complete semi-technical and clerical tasks
  • Sort, data enter, and retrieve records, as well as type envelopes and respond to telephone inquiries
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of a phlebotomy training program preferred
  • Six months direct phlebotomy experience or completion of an 80-hour clinical rotation
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and telephone skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized working conditions
