We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Cooley Dickinson Health Care, a member of the Mass General Brigham system. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our pursuit of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Receive patients, gather registration information, and order tests
- Generate specimen labels and escort patients to phlebotomy services
- Perform phlebotomy on all patient populations and complete semi-technical and clerical tasks
- Sort, data enter, and retrieve records, as well as type envelopes and respond to telephone inquiries
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a phlebotomy training program preferred
- Six months direct phlebotomy experience or completion of an 80-hour clinical rotation
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and telephone skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized working conditions
