Job Summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a skilled Infusion Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients and families in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Gather and complete patient registration information, assemble and maintain patient records, and prepare charts for next-day patients.
  • Triangulate and prioritize calls, distribute to RNs in the clinic as needed, and demonstrate knowledge of registration as it relates to electronic medical records.
  • Work assigned patient and account work queues, schedule patients using Cadence Snap Board Scheduling, and accurately enter orders through electronic medical records.
  • Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice, including vital signs, glucometry, phlebotomy, and prepare charts for next-day patients.
  • Meet physical and sensory requirements, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and pushing objects up to 75 pounds, and transporting patients via wheelchair, bed, or stretcher.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED preferred.
  • Healthcare specialty training preferred.
  • Evidence of successful completion of BLS or completion within 6 months of hire.
  • Attend St. Luke's Health Network Associate Patient Care Course or evidence of previous training determined through competency testing.
