Job Description

Advanced Technology Leaders Inc is seeking a highly skilled Training Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance and operations, with a focus on supporting field services and sling load training sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance and operation of equipment, including forklifts, field shower pump systems, and generators.
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all vehicles and equipment.
  • Set up and tear down equipment used for training in the field, in accordance with technical manuals.
  • Perform field-expedient repairs of equipment and minor equipment/vehicle restoration and repair work.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of military experience in a related field, such as MOS 92F, 92A, 92W, 92G, 92R/S, or 92M.
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Additional Information:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Possess and maintain all required training and certifications.
  • US Citizen.

Work Environment:

Normal hours for conducting business between 0800 to 1700, with personnel schedules staggered to allow for classroom availability between 0700 to 1800.

Monday thru Friday except Federal Holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

These operating hours and days may vary based on the requirements of the agency.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

  • Position generally requires light work with occasional lifting of up to (30) pounds or more, carrying supplies, equipment.
  • The job requires varying amounts of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with an excellent comprehension of the English language is essential.
  • Work is generally performed in an indoor setting.

Travel:

Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) to support tasks and requirements may be required.
