\About the Job:\

We are seeking a highly motivated Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Ashland in Ashland, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel.

\Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.\
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.\
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.\
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.\
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to conduct deep cleaning.\
  • Deep cleaning tasks may include changing the AC filter, cleaning the AC coils, touching up paint on walls/molding, touching up scratched furniture, or rehanging closed slide doors.\
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.\
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.\
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.\
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linens.\
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisor or manager.\\
  • Greet guests warmly and respond to their requests promptly and efficiently.\\
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of guests to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.\\
  • Develop a working knowledge of hotel services and amenities to provide accurate information to guests.\\
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.\\
  • Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork within the hotel.\\
  • Participate in training programs and attend meetings as required.\\
  • Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and management.\\
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations.\\
  • Remain alert and attentive to potential safety hazards and report incidents to management immediately.\\
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment that values diversity and promotes equity and inclusion.\\
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving problems and improving processes.\\
  • Support and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.\\
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.\\
  • Other duties as assigned.\\
  • The estimated salary for this position is $14 per hour.\
