Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Epic Care. As an Infusion Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, administering chemotherapy treatments, and maintaining a safe and compliant infusion center environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering chemotherapy treatments and monitoring patient responses.
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients and document findings in the electronic medical record.
  • Schedule chemotherapy treatments and appointments, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.
  • Monitor patient compliance with therapy and continuity of care, providing education and support as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant infusion center environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Act as a patient advocate, addressing psychosocial needs and providing emotional support to patients and families.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN licensure in the State of California.
  • ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification required.
  • 2+ years of experience in oncology infusion nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Epic EMR and ability to navigate complex systems.
