Electrical Control Panel Specialist

Amtech Drives Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Specialist to design, build, and test complex electrical control panels from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating electrical control panels that meet customer specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and build complex electrical control panels using industry-standard software and tools.
- Work with electrical systems ranging from 120VAC to 575VAC, 24VDC, and 4-20mA.
- Test and inspect electrical control panels, including point-to-point, hi-pot, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Production, to ensure accurate material ordering and project completion.
- Review electrical packages and ensure compliance with National Electric Code (NEC) codes and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) labeling.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Level of experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
- Essential physical and mental requirements:
- Ability to handle up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.
- Occasional performance of duties in a standing, kneeling, or squatting position.
- Good eyesight and ability to distinguish color necessary.
- Active Electrical or Master Electrician certification.
- Attention to detail, focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage tools and work with management for continuous improvement.
- Warehouse management experience, including shipping and receiving material, shocking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
