Job Title: Pediatric Dentist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team at ProSmile. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to infants, children, and adolescents, assessing oral health, growth, and potential issues like tooth decay and misalignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive dental exams for pediatric patients, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
  • Provide preventive care, including educating parents on proper oral hygiene and diet for children.
  • Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and pulp therapy, and offer interceptive orthodontic treatments to guide proper development.
  • Manage pediatric dental emergencies, such as toothaches or trauma, and educate caregivers on at-home care for emergencies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and refer patients to specialists for complex treatments beyond pediatric dentistry.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote pediatric oral health and preventative care.
Qualifications:
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completed CODA-accredited pediatric dentistry residency.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric dentistry.
  • Active state licensure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children and parents.
