Electrical Engineer Sr. Job Description

ITAC is a leading provider of integrated engineering and construction services for complex capital projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Sr. to join our team.

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer Sr. will be responsible for performing electrical engineering activities for all phases of electrical development and equipment design for projects of moderate size and complexity. This includes the investigation of several variables, periodic review of work done by less experienced engineers, and the ability to lead a small staff of designers and possibly junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical engineering activities for all phases of electrical development and equipment design for projects of moderate size and complexity.
  • Investigate several variables and make informed decisions.
  • Periodically review work done by less experienced engineers.
  • Lead a small staff of designers and possibly junior engineers.
  • Perform quality checking procedures on electrical engineering work performed by others.
  • Resolve technical design conflicts.
  • Direct the use of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in electrical engineering design and project execution.
  • Familiarity with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Proficient with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
