Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at St. George Village. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional resident care and support in our skilled living community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) regarding all areas of resident care.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and document according to policy.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including therapy, pharmacy, hospice, lab, and private caregivers.
  • Implement resident care plans and modify them as needed based on changes in residents' conditions.
  • Complete new resident nursing assessments for move-ins and initiate nursing and CNA care plans.
  • Communicate relevant information from new resident assessments to care partners.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in the TOL Neighborhood.
  • Supervise shift rounds by CNAs, monitor and/or perform assigned tasks, and oversee resident assignments.
  • Facilitate pharmacy communication for medication refills, medication changes, and stat orders.
  • Conduct audits of the medication administration record (MAR) as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current Georgia LPN license with at least two years of related experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, documentation, and assessment abilities.
  • The ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
  • Current CPR training required.
Work Environment

The work week can be up to 40 plus hours per week on a year-round basis. However, the position requires a willingness and flexibility in work hours when necessary to fulfill job responsibilities, including occasional evening or weekend work.
