Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the St. George Village care team, responsible for providing high-quality resident care and services. This full-time position requires a dedicated and compassionate individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage resident care, including resident assessments, medication administration, and care planning.
- Supervise and monitor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, including therapy, pharmacy, and hospice, to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Implement and modify resident care plans as needed, based on changes in resident condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care and services.
- Participate in departmental and community performance improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services.
Requirements:
- Current Georgia LPN license with at least two years of related experience.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Current CPR training required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
