Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Planner/Urban Planner with or without experience interested in a hybrid urban planning & project management role. As part of our team, you will be involved in various planning projects from initial conception to determination.

You will undertake complex development applications, structure plans, rezoning applications, subdivision applications, due diligence, and coordination of sub-consultant inputs and reporting. Additionally, you will manage client relationships, present proposals to stakeholders, and work collaboratively with other planners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively managing or assisting with various planning projects
  • Preparing complex development applications, structure plans, and rezoning applications
  • Managing client relationships and presenting proposals to stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with other planners and support staff

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning or a related development discipline
  • Previous Western Australian private practice or State/Local Government experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge of Western Australian State and Local Planning Policies and Guidelines desirable
  • Initiative and self-motivation in meeting client expectations
  • Strong negotiation and people skills
