Join our team as a highly skilled Assistant Controller

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the financial consolidation, reporting, and accounting operations for our global corporation. As Assistant Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the monthly close process, and driving continuous improvement in our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Reporting and Close Process: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage the monthly close process, and drive continuous improvement in our financial processes.
  • Cash Flow Statement and Analysis: Analyze and prepare cash flow statements, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis and Compliance: Conduct financial analysis, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and identify areas for process improvement.
  • SEC Reporting and Disclosure review: Review and prepare SEC filings, and ensure compliance with disclosure requirements.
  • Pension and Benefit Planning: Develop and maintain pension and benefit plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Corporate Accounting Management: Manage the accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Consultation and SOX Compliance: Provide consultation on financial matters, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Detailed experience in consolidating results of a global corporation.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated individual who can manage projects independently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance, CPA a plus.
  • Minimum of ten years of prior experience in accounting, with at least three years in public accounting and five years on the Controller team of a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with Hyperion Finance Management (HFM) consolidation system is required.
