Position Overview
The role of a Daily Property Field Adjuster is crucial in delivering exceptional claims handling services for our clients, focusing on daily claims that may involve various perils.
Contractual Obligations:
- A contract will be issued promptly upon acceptance of your first claim assignment, detailing compensation and relevant information about your role as an independent contractor.
Qualifications and Licensure:
- Must reside within a specified distance from the assigned location and be willing to travel.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property field adjusting.
- Possession of an independent adjusting license in your home state or a designated home state license if residing in a non-licensing state.
- Experience with various types of losses, including wind, hail, theft, fire, and water, is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation, a computer, a digital camera, a ladder, and other necessary tools for the role.
- Willingness and ability to climb roofs are essential.
Technical Requirements:
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility with an active subscription.
- A functional laptop with reliable high-speed internet.
- Digital camera and other necessary tools for the role.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The physical requirements outlined here are representative of what must be met by the independent contractor to successfully perform this role.
Travel is required 100% within the designated working territory based on assignment locations.
Work may occur in a typical office or field claims environment. The ability to operate a vehicle for up to 8 hours daily, including frequent entry and exit, is necessary. Physical inspections of loss sites are required, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential. Availability for catastrophic loss events and flexibility to work irregular hours, including potential overnight travel, is a plus.
