Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Universal Banker/Teller to join our team at First Mid-Illinois Bancshares. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting banking products to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized service to customers, ensuring timely resolution to their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Process transactions with accuracy and efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying growth opportunities to cross-sell products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date on banking products and services, providing expert advice to customers and promoting our offerings.
  • Collaborate with branch management to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Previous sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
