About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Specialist to join our team at The Fedcap Group. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve their employment-focused goals and improve their economic stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with program participants, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Conduct comprehensive intakes to assess participants' needs, strengths, interests, and capabilities, and develop personalized service plans.
  • Partner with participants to set and achieve short-term and long-term employment goals, providing ongoing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with external providers to ensure participants have access to necessary services and supports.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of participant interactions and progress, using data to inform daily and weekly tasks.
  • Secure releases and build effective communication with participants' medical, behavioral health, and other providers.
  • Represent The Fedcap Group with stakeholders and in the community in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driver's license, required.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
