About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Specialist to join our team at The Fedcap Group. As a key member of our workforce development program, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to achieve their employment-focused goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish trust and rapport with program participants to understand their needs, strengths, interests, and capabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive intakes to develop a service plan that outlines short-term and long-term employment and other goals.
  • Meet regularly with participants to document progress, provide ongoing orientation, and ensure they understand their TANF and program requirements.
  • Build effective partnerships with external providers to ensure participants have access to needed services and supports.
  • Maintain exceptional record keeping and document all communication and contact with participants and external partners.
  • Request needed supports services, such as childcare, transportation, and educational services, to assist participants in achieving their goals.
  • Uphold all agency policies and expectations in performing the job.
  • Run reports and use data to plan daily and weekly tasks.
  • Secure releases and build effective communication with participants' medical, behavioral health, and other providers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driver's license, required.
