Senior Process Scientist

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Scientist to join our Process Sciences Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and optimization of bioprocesses through small-scale laboratory experiments, analysis, troubleshooting, and investigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct small-scale process studies and investigations to optimize bioprocesses
  • Assist in the scientific evaluation of samples from lab-scale studies to inform process improvements
  • Develop and write protocols for small-scale process studies to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Tabulate results and write summary reports for process evaluation and validation studies to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Perform technical investigations and create associated reports to identify and resolve process issues
  • Develop and write responses for technical sections of regulatory documents to ensure compliance
  • Conduct scaled-down production procedures to enhance efficiency and yield of bioprocesses
  • Present findings at group and interdepartmental meetings to share knowledge and best practices
  • Maintain lab supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Produce and maintain accurate records to track process improvements and outcomes

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field with 0-2 years' experience or MSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a related field with 3+ years' relevant experience. cGMP experience is desirable. Experience in scale-down purification and model qualification would be an advantage.
