Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Accountant to become an integral part of our Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG). This role is designed for individuals who excel in dynamic environments and are dedicated to delivering outstanding service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to manage client relationships effectively.
- Assist in the preparation and review of comprehensive financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Statements of Investments, Statements of Operations, Statements of Cash Flows, and accompanying Notes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger and work paper files, covering capital activity, investment transactions, income, and expense accruals.
- Prepare Partner Capital reports and calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees, and capital allocations.
- Generate capital call and distribution notices, detailing sources and uses of cash, along with investor communications.
- Conduct daily cash balance reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Calculate quarter-end final and estimated Net Asset Values (NAVs).
- Support the year-end audit process in collaboration with clients and auditors.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.

Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in private equity fund accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or progress towards completion.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Familiarity with Yardi and/or MRI software.
