Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Michael Foods, Inc. in the Village of West Jefferson, OH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume personal responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality.
  • Attend and actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance at all times, including USDA, OSHA, SQF, and FDA guidelines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, monitor efficiency, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Remove or replace defective parts, adjust equipment components, and repair doors as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work safely with chemicals.
