Job Opportunity

IT Concepts is seeking a seasoned Chief Innovation Architect to drive innovation and enterprise architecture initiatives for a DOD SOCOM opportunity.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions, driving the enterprise architecture, and coordinating engagements across the Innovation Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership and architecture to drive innovation and enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Ownership of the Innovation Council, Technical Roadmap, Enterprise Governance, Pattern Development, and Innovation integration into the SIE Ecosystem.
  • Setting the strategic direction for innovation, enterprise architecture, enterprise governance, technology roadmap, and identifying opportunities for new products, services, processes, and training.
  • Developing and implementing frameworks and processes that foster a culture of innovation across the delivery of training and services.
  • Collaboration with other organizational components to ensure innovation initiatives align with SIE/operator requirements.
  • Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Overseeing the development and execution of innovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and work through the approval board process for innovation integration.
  • Establishing metrics to measure the success of innovation initiatives and making data-driven recommendations to leadership to improve outcomes.

Requirements

Senior level: 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree.

Substitutions for education:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
  • 12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to lead and develop innovation strategies and road maps that align emerging technologies with DoD mission goals and national security objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, cybersecurity, blockchain, cloud computing, and data analytics.
  • Expertise in designing and overseeing complex enterprise architectures and integrating new technologies into existing DoD systems including in DoDAF and related frameworks, methodologies, and specifications.
  • Strong proficiency in cybersecurity practices, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies, ensuring new technologies are secure and meet stringent DoD security standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.
  • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
