Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Gateway Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures in accordance with department protocols
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provide care through assessment, observation, and documentation
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images
  • Promote a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions and taking appropriate action
  • Provide attentive care to patients during examinations and take necessary action if required
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonographer program
  • One to two years of experience in Sonography, or new graduate
  • Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) thru the ARDMS or certified as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) thru CCI required
  • Must obtain RVT or RVS registry within 1 year from date of hire
  • BLS required
