Job Title: Site Civil Senior Engineer

Cyntergy is a dynamic, multi-discipline firm with a strong local presence and a national reach. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Civil Senior Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

The Site Civil Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading the technical completion of civil engineering site development projects and related work activities. This includes scope definition, feasibility studies, design proposal development, design narratives, formal engineering reports, specification review, design calculations, system modeling, review of geotechnical reports, review of site surveys, client review meetings, city development meetings, site construction observation reports, formal meeting documentation, and answer construction and bid requests for information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical completion of civil engineering site development projects
  • Develop and implement design proposals, narratives, and reports
  • Review and approve design calculations, system modeling, and geotechnical reports
  • Collaborate with clients, city officials, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in civil design
  • Familiarity with current design trends and local codes
  • Familiarity with Federal Facility Criteria – Whole Building Design Guide
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
  • Ability to prepare proposals for projects, including estimating fees
  • Ability to accommodate overnight travel by car and by air
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3-D software
