Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a member of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Service Line, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to children with a range of neurological and developmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify and assess problems
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
  • Provide aquatic therapy, splinting, wheelchair and equipment evaluations, and functional electrical stimulation as needed
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • At least two years of experience in pediatric neurological and developmental rehabilitation, with a focus on splinting and aquatic therapy
