About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Captain to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a Catering Captain, you will be responsible for coordinating catering staff schedules, ensuring timely delivery and setup of events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure efficient event execution
  • Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and address last-minute changes
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints and provide service-oriented solutions
  • Prepare and serve food at scheduled events under the supervision of the Catering Director
  • Drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered events
Requirements
  • Previous food service experience required
  • Valid driver's license may be required
  • Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law
