Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Wickshire Senior Living Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our maintenance, housekeeping, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise and manage a team of maintenance, housekeeping, and security associates to ensure a safe, attractive, clean, and well-maintained living environment for our residents and guests.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and housekeeping procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the community to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and housekeeping activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent customer service to our residents and guests.
  • Develop and implement budgets and financial plans to ensure effective management of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our community remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with at least 1 year of experience in a management position.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management or business administration.
  • Certifications or training in areas such as OSHA, CPR, or first aid.
  • Experience working in a senior living or healthcare environment.
