Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Reliability Manager to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure maximum plant availability and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to ensure safe and effective execution of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with operations management to ensure safe work practices and technical verification of work.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective cost management and resource allocation.
  • Interface with customers and regulators to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in maintenance and reliability management, preferably in the hazardous waste industry or large utility/industrial plant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team of 25 or more employees.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient knowledge in Oracle Primavera P-6 scheduling tool.
  • Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, including RCM programs.
