Position Type: Full-Time
Experience Requirements: Minimum of two years in maintenance roles or relevant training. High School diploma or GED is required; Trade School or Industry Training is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
As the Lead Service Technician, your duties will encompass:
- Monitoring service request completion metrics and resident satisfaction feedback.
- Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues within apartment units and communal facilities.
- Preparing vacant apartments for new tenants.
- Maintaining the aesthetics of grounds, common areas, and amenities to the highest standards.
- Executing preventative maintenance tasks and inspections as assigned.
- Participating in snow removal operations.
- Sharing responsibilities in the emergency call rotation.
- Ensuring adherence to all operational policies and procedures.
- Providing exceptional resident service through professional and courteous interactions.
- Availability for weekend, evening, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Work performed in various indoor, outdoor, and mechanical settings within a residential community.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Broad maintenance experience including apartment turnover, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to enhancing technical skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
