Job OverviewFineman Realty is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a luxury condominium in Bala Cynwyd, PA, US. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of building levels, inside and out, to identify and address issues such as soiled carpets, damaged walls, and non-closing fire doors.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to deliver exceptional service to tenants, including checking breaker panels, reviewing and completing work orders, and replacing light bulbs in common areas.
  • Monitor move-ins to protect walls and carpeting, and supervise contractors and repairmen to ensure common areas remain clean and protected.
  • Meet daily with the Supervisor to discuss maintenance issues and schedule tasks, and maintain organized and secure inventory and supplies in the Maintenance Shop.
  • Respond to 24-hour emergency services and monitor lobby temperature to ensure a comfortable environment for residents.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by management, including touch-ups, painting, general repairs, and conducting any repairs necessary for the safety and security of all residents.
In-Unit Services
  • Clear clogged garbage disposals and drains, replace faucet washers, and replace standard light bulbs.
  • Replace smoke detector and water alarm batteries, hang pictures, and move furniture (no antiques or breakables).
  • Admit contractors or repairmen into units (no supervision), replace PTAC units, and replace locksets.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair common maintenance issues, and strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Competencies: US Work Authorization.
