Job Description

Job Summary:

The Chassis Sr. Development Engineer will be responsible for leading the development of vehicle dynamics attributes, including shock tuning, steering calibrations, and brake testing. This position requires expertise in vehicle dynamics, data analysis, and test method development. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver best-in-class ride performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute vehicle dynamics testing and tuning plans
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and deliver solutions
  • Lead the development of new technologies and systems to improve ride performance
  • Work with the Vehicle Development team to develop and implement test methods and procedures
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support technicians and engineers
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, including international trips
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Vehicle Dynamics or Chassis components
  • Minimum 3-5 years of applicable experience in damper tuning
  • Expert knowledge of vehicle dynamics, shock performance, and control logic
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Matlab
  • Strong software skills in system development and ride tuning tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information
  • Valid driving license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Travel may be required up to 50% of the time, including international trips.
