Senior Financial Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Professional to join our team at One Community Health in Midtown Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and leadership, with experience managing accounting departments, accounts payable, and receivables workflows. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and educate a team to achieve financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient day-to-day operations of accounting functions.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries, including accruals.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets to achieve cost savings.
  • Manage organization purchasing process.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Negotiate with vendor's payment terms and pricing on products.
  • Inventory and equipment management for the organization.
  • Develop metrics and tracking to establish standards and make improvements as needed.
  • Help staff understand how their roles contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
  • Provide training on key financial metrics, such as cash flow, profit margins, and budget variances, and demonstrate how these metrics impact the organization's overall financial performance.
  • Assist with cost effective forecasting and budgeting for equipment, supplies, goods and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • Expertise in management of accounting department, accounts payable, and receivables workflows.
  • Ability to lead, educate, and motivate a team to achieve financial goals.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with purchasing and procurement.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, operational accounting, and financial reporting.

Estimated Salary: $105,000 - $125,000 per year
