About the Role

As a Senior Accountant at Big Hairy Dog Information Systems, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our company. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Sacramento, CA 95827.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting deadlines, working collaboratively with colleagues, and analyzing complex financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports, including multi-state sales tax returns and audit preparations.
  • Support monthly and year-end financial close.
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Analyze complex financial reports and records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on senior-level roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and programs.
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
