Position Overview:

We currently have an opening for an Inventory Management Specialist to support our operations. As part of the Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group focused on advancing industry-leading screening technologies.

Our facility is engaged in producing a comprehensive range of fully automated and integrated systems for various sectors, including aviation, shipping ports, border security, and critical infrastructure. These systems are essential for threat detection, screening baggage, cargo, and individuals at checkpoints globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute outbound logistics activities to support production operations for both domestic and international clients.
  • Prepare and package pallets, crates, and boxes for shipment.
  • Manage shipping processes through UPS, FedEx, or common LTL freight services.
  • Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize essential tasks for customer fulfillment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties, including kit pulling, stock put-away, and cycle counts as necessary.
  • Develop strategies to meet shipping metrics in accordance with established standards.
  • Gather and confirm material orders required for assembly operations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Create and label inventory items accurately.
  • Organize and manage shipping documentation in compliance with file management guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or shipping.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • 2+ years of forklift operation experience, with proper training/certification.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Proficient in computer usage and stock management systems (experience with Costpoint is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to sudden changes in operational demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in math skills.
  • Effective time management skills, with flexibility to adjust hours as needed.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of company equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in international shipping.
  • Forklift certification.
