Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative and respectful work atmosphere, emphasizing integrity, exceptional customer service, financial accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure the dining area is tidy and organized, including chairs, tables, waste receptacles, and other designated areas as directed by management.
  • Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen, including cleaning floors, managing waste, and organizing dishes and delivery items.
  • Keep service areas and surrounding spaces clean and free from debris, arranged according to supervisory standards.
  • Promptly remove trash, waste, and spills from dining and kitchen areas.
  • Prepare food stations efficiently before scheduled service times, using the appropriate equipment and food items as approved by management.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries into designated storage areas under the guidance of supervisors.
  • Ensure workstations are consistently clean and sanitized.
  • Support food production, presentation, setup, and service as directed by supervisors.
  • Help organize and replenish service-related items such as condiments, dishware, and glassware.
  • Serve menu items to customers while delivering outstanding customer service in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Assemble menu items on trays for customers with standard and modified diets.
  • Deliver food carts to designated units, ensuring all patients receive the correct trays and return carts within the specified timeframe.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding menu items.
  • Provide service while ensuring proper serving and clearing techniques are followed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Preferred experience of one year in retail, customer service, or food service, though not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent reaching and bending.
  • Ability to lift or carry items weighing 10 lbs or more regularly.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
