We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Mental Health Clinician to join our team at United Counseling Services. As an essential member of our community service team, you will provide a wide range of clinical services to individuals and families struggling with mental health and/or substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Services: Provide assessment and counseling to individuals and families, including individual, family, group, and relationship counseling.
  • Case Management: Coordinate services with other agencies and providers, facilitating referrals as needed.
  • Consultation and Education: Offer mental health and substance use consultation to the community, area agencies, and schools, promoting education and awareness.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records, ensuring timely and efficient documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings and collaborate with colleagues to coordinate services and programs.

In addition to these responsibilities, we encourage our clinicians to pursue professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current in their field.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Master's degree in a related field, be licensed or eligible for licensure in Vermont, and have at least one year of experience in mental health or substance use treatment.

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $55,000 to $61,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our clients, and we strive to create a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
