Job Title: Material Handling Specialist

QuEra Computing Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handling Specialist to join its Supply Chain and Manufacturing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the receipt and processing of shipments from parcel and freight carriers.
  • Accurately barcode and label inbound inventory to ensure efficient tracking and management.
  • Process Purchase Order Receipts in QuEra's ERP system to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Notify Purchasing of any damaged or incomplete shipments and track receipt dates to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage QuEra's stock of raw components and consumables, including transferring and transacting inventory from the ERP system.
  • Kit subassemblies for the Engineering team and work with Facilities and Safety to properly store sensitive electronic componentry and lab cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure warehousing spaces are clean and organized, and safely package and ship QuEra's components and finished goods.
  • Set up pickups with carriers, including creating shipping paperwork and labels.
  • Work with the technical team to manage their hardware Kanban system and troubleshoot delays of inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, 3PLs, and custom brokers.
  • Manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) shipments and receipts of nonconforming components.
Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in a warehousing environment, with manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Experience with inventory receiving or pick/pack/ship software, ERP experience a plus.
  • Experience with serialization and/or lot tracking of inventory.
  • Has worked with 3PLs and/or freight carriers.
  • Knowledge of proper packaging and palletization techniques.
  • International shipping experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience handling specialized electronic equipment a plus.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • High school or GED required, Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
