Job Title: Mold Maker

We are seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our team at IPEX Group of Companies. As a Mold Maker, you will be responsible for manufacturing new mold components and completing repairs and modifications to existing molds and tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture new mold components and complete repairs and modifications to existing molds and tooling.
  • Actively participate in the 5S, SAFE, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Participate in all facility waste management and environmentally related programs and training.
  • Technical understanding of production planning techniques, quality management standards, lean manufacturing, and safety requirements/laws.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of mold making, production, setup, and plastic injection molding.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of CAM programs (EdgeCAM) and CNC machining practices in a shop environment.
  • Basic trigonometry skills for measuring cuts, compounding, and deciphering angles.
  • Advanced mechanical proficiency.
  • Intermediate CNC machining knowledge.
  • Licensed to operate forklift truck, pallet truck, and other material handling equipment.
