Position Overview: The DME Coordination Associate is tasked with the development, enhancement, and management of orthotic solutions, including the fitting of orthoses, processing of billing claims, and nurturing a strong patient-centric relationship within designated accounts. This role reports directly to the Director of Business Development.

  • Conduct assessments and measurements to identify suitable products for patients.
  • Create customized items as needed.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols when engaging with patients.
  • Educate clients, patients, families, and caregivers on the proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of products.
  • Provide information regarding applicable product warranties to clients, patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Deliver all client and patient interactions with a friendly and supportive demeanor.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all products.
  • Keep detailed patient records related to fittings.
  • Assist in resolving client product or service issues when appropriate.
  • Report product incidents as mandated by company policy.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives as appropriate.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with all training on current and new products, including the use of Ancillary Support's Phyllis IMS.
  • Collaborate with customer service and marketing teams to foster a cooperative and customer-first approach.
  • Achieve targeted objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Provide assistance within the clinic as required.

Qualifications: To perform this role successfully, an individual must meet the following qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, or governmental documents. Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Effectively presents information and responds to inquiries from managers, customers, and the public.

Mathematical Skills:
