Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Operations Assistant to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting patients and visitors, checking them in and out, and obtaining necessary documentation.
  • Verifying and entering demographic information.
  • Obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations/precertification.
  • Completing medical record release requests and scheduling/confirming patient appointments.
  • Entering, reviewing, and submitting charges for patient procedures and services daily.
  • Collecting co-payments and reconciling all daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
You will also provide general office and clerical support to assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A high school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
